Oh my god, Tori, I'm actually surprised you haven't done something like this for all of the pictures.
btw, I am jealous of your writing skill and imagination. I think I've grown up too much and might've lost my own. :(
are you kidding? that was just silliness. I’m a creative writing major I should be able to do better. hahaha
NOT WORKING UNTIL NOON IS WHY I'M STILL UP RIGHT NOW. Although I'm watching the Caves of Androzani. I have this dumb idea that I can happily and sanely finish the 6th and 7th Doctor before Connecticon.
Oh Caves….the first Fivey serial I ever watched….needless to say I was traumatized. O_O
I decided he was a god-tier Doctor after hearing his first couple of audio dramas. Aside from that it's just been the crazy level of lore that accompanies him that makes me WANT to know more.
He's decidedly the busiest Doctor, but we know the least about him.
I NEED to listen to one of his audio dramas in its entirety…..
Maybe I’ll start that tonight…..I don’t have work until noon….
I’ll start out by saying I’d be lying if I told you I was sorry to see it go. I never liked the idea of a Phantom sequel, much less one straight from the man who made me fall in love with the original. When it turned out extremely flawed for an absolute plethora of reasons you probably are already…
ALL OF THIS.
Especially the bit at the end.
There are reasons why I’m nowhere near as involved in the Phandom as I used to be….one of them is Doctor Who……but the other is definitely the ridiculous and often plain nasty elitism that it is plagued with. :o/
That being said….I am most certainly not sad to see LND close. I never saw it (of course, being in America) and honestly didn’t want to….at least not after I read the plot summary and heard some songs other than “‘Till I Hear You Sing”.
I said it three years ago when the rumors were first coming out about this sequel and I’ll say it again in the aftermath of LND, I am not opposed to the idea of a Phantom sequel necessarily….but they picked the WORST. POSSIBLE. BOOK. to base it on. I have read dozens of fanfictions that would have made better musicals than “Phantom of Manhattan”, let alone the plethora of other novels that could have worked.
You said the magic words, dearest.
Where shall we go today? To Mars? To the rolling hills of Scotland? To the icy waters of the Thames as we watch court intrigues in Good Queen Bess' reign play out? Name the place, my dearest companion, and we'll be on our way with a bag of jelly babies and a shared scarf.
Anywhere, anywhere, anywhere! :o)
Although, perhaps somewhere fairly quiet might be best….it’s been a long day and my knees are sore…..so if we can avoid running away from things that would be good. hahah
Title: Endless Possibilities Fandom: Doctor Who Characters: The Doctor (Tenth), Rose Tyler, Jackie Tyler, Mickey Smith Timeline: Season one Word count: 2,245 Summary:Rose Tyler’s life was forever changed when a mysterious stranger grabbed her hand and told her to run from attacking shop window dummies. But what if this mysterious stranger didn’t have a daft old face and wear a leather jacket? What if he was a tall, thin man (with some really great hair) in a pinstripe suit? Inspired by the lovely natyseixas. Author’s Note: A huge, crazy thank you to Katie, without whom I would probably still be tearing my hair out over plot anxiety. The title is highly subject to change. I am so nervous about this, so I hope you all enjoy!
