ONCE UPON A TIME, THERE WAS A GIRL NAMED TORI…

She appeared, most of the time, to be an altogether normal girl. You’d never have guessed just looking at her that she was in fact a telepathic Time Lady who also happened to be a witch, a Jedi, a superhero, a friend of the ABC, and a member of the Browncoat Rebellion who has had such friends throughout space and time as The Beatles, Oscar Wilde, and the Phantom of the Opera. She spends her free time traveling either in her own TARDIS or in that of the Doctor’s thirteenth incarnation, to whom she is not-so-secretly married. Her favorite hobbies include saving the universe, raising rare and exotic cats, and attending every concert Andrew McMahon has or will ever perform.

What?

Okay if you really want the boring “true” story instead of the interesting one…

She was born somewhere in Massachusetts in the Northeastern United States about 20 years ago. She came into this world with absurdly curly hair and too many words in her brain. Nothing too worthy of discussion occurred in her childhood.  Heading, rather reluctantly, off to college to pursue a degree in English (with a minor in Theater), she discovered that there are plenty of interesting people in the wide world if you know how to seek them out. She became a prouder nerd than ever and discovered a plethora of new friends through the subculture of Geekdom and its various fandoms.

Tori proudly, enthusiastically, and more than a little bit disbelievingly “runs” a Doctor Who fanclub based in the Boston area that boasts over 500 members and counting.

Currently, her third year of college has gotten off to a little bit of a rough start. Anxiety and depression and general emotional instability tends to crop up at the worst possible times, she’s noticed. Things have improved, however, and, as long as she looks at it as a learning experience, she believes things will continue to look up. Yes, that means this blog will occasionally contain musings about the weird and ridiculous world of living with mental peculiarities. The blogger will always tag such things appropriately for triggery reasons.

In her free time Tori is generally thinking, talking, reading, writing (or trying to force herself to write), making cosplays, watching British television and movies she’s already seen several times, hoarding music (especially obscure recordings of her favorite musicals), doing mostly useless things, and trying to break herself of a lip-biting habit.

Obviously, she also blogs a lot.

THIS IS A MULTI-FANDOM BLOG and there is usually little to no rhyme or reason to what will be posted when. You have been warned…?
